I love the patterns you see in nature that are repeated constantly and show everything connecting one way or another. We live in one big organism of a universe and we are equivalent to an atom. Everything works harmoniously and is perfect in the bigger picture despite what happens in the smaller stories of life. I believe a universal consciousness underlies and animates everything. The same awareness that is in us and everything else. We are collectively god. Individually a fractal of the whole thing. You are literally it. The source and essence of our entire reality. One day I believe we will realise it so fully it’ll be beautiful and hilarious. Because it was so simple all along. We are what we spend our life searching for. This is what I was thinking about when painting this one. How our awareness and its importance to all reality relates down to the smallest ‘physical’ parts of nature. That’s why I wanted to add all the symbols and patterns that to me represent a lot of this stuff
